Personally I mainly use the 12 volt makita tools. But I got this just because I occasionally gotta use larger hole saw bits or I need to run some larger fasteners. I probably use the drill two to three times a week so again for my applications it works great.

I did try the driver on my suv's lugnuts and it did whip them off and on without any problems. Its a powerful little beast.

The one negative is that the chargers that came with the set were not the fast charger so it takes about 50-60 minutes to full charge a dead batter.
